Triumph Motorcycles India is planning an onslaught in the Indian market in 2021 with multiple launches. Apart from the launch of the much anticipated Trident 660 motorbike, the British brand will also introduce the Tiger 850 Sport in the country. Triumph has now listed the adventure tourer on its Indian website.
The new 850 tourer will come in as a replacement for the Tiger 900 motorbike. It is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2021.
The adventurer tourer will get its juice from an 888cc engine in a slightly retuned state. This engine will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox delivering 85 PS of max power and 82 Nm of peak torque.
This will be the entry level model for the Triumph Tiger family and is a more road focused machine. It will feature road-biased tyres, six-axis IMU-aided electronic aids, non-adjustable suspension and much more.
Apart from the Trident 660 and Tiger 850 Sport, the company will be launching seven more models during the first half of 2021 in India. The new models will also include some special editions from Triumph`s current product line-up.
