The new 2021 Tata Safari draws power from a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. This diesel mill pumps out 170 PS of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox and it gets a 6-speed torque converter AT too. However, it doesn’t get an all-wheel-drive system or even 4×4.
