Tata Motors has recently officially revealed the new Tata Punch Mini SUV and it will be launched in India on 20th October 2021. The all-new Tata Punch is India’s first sub-compact SUV. In fact, this mini SUV is the production-spec version of the Tata HBX concept SUV that was showcased in India at the Auto Expo 2020. Now, the production version of this mini SUV remains more or less the same as its concept version and it even shares its identity with other Tata SUVs like the Nexon, Harrier and the Safari. The new Tata Punch has a ground clearance of 170 mm which is certainly one of the best in its class and it does the job pretty well. The new Tata Punch measures 3827 mm in length, 1742 mm in width and 1615 mm in height. The new Tata Punch has a wheelbase of 2445 mm and it offers a decent ground clearance of 187 mm. Also, at 2445 mm, the new Tata Punch has the longest wheelbase in its class. The wheelbase is the length between the front and rear wheel axles and the Hyundai i20 will offer class-leading rear legroom space. This mini SUV can seat 5 people at once and it gets four doors and a rear hatch. Also, the new Tata Punch offers a good 366 litres of boot space with all seats up and the jacked-up hatchback has a fuel tank capacity of 37 litres.
