The Tata Nexon’s alloy wheel design has been quietly revised, and units with the new set of wheels have begun to arrive at dealerships.
The compact SUV now has 16-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels in place of the previous V-shaped rims of the same size. The new 5-spoke alloy wheels will be available on all variants of the compact SUV with alloy wheels.
The VIN number for the models that will be fitted with the new alloy wheels is MAT627149MLE33582. The cut-off chassis number for the models that will be equipped with the new alloy wheels is 1533582.
While the automaker works on upgrading the handbook and website for the vehicle, it has requested dealers to notify potential consumers about the changes made to the Tata Nexon alloy wheel design.
Tata recently removed Nexon’s conventional shortcut buttons for the infotainment system, instead of integrating the functions into its touchscreen head unit.
There have been no other updates to Nexon’s feature list or mechanical components. As a result, the Nexon will continue to be available with 1.2-liter turbo petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engines, as well as 6-speed manual and AMT transmission options.
