Tata Motors recently launched SUV, the Harrier received a software update which now comes with Apple CarPlay
The Tata Harrier which was introduced in the Indian market earlier this year has received a good response. It is based on the Land Rover Discovery Sport platform. It missed out on some important features like sunroof, automatic transmission, and Apple CarPlay conectivity at the time of launch. Tata has now updated the software on the Harrier SUV and it now gets Apple CarPlay connectivity.
The company has given an update to the Harrier`s infotainment system which now enables Apple CarPlay connectivity. This update is available for both XT and XZ variants of the Tata Harrier. The software can be updated at Tata authorised service centres.
Other than the introduction of Apple CarPlay no other changes have been made to the Harrier. Tata also introduced Apple CarPlay in the Tigor and Tiago recently. The Tata Harrier rivals the likes of the Mahindra XUV500, Jeep Compass and the yet to be launched MG Hector.
