The new Suzuki Avenis 125 is the third 125cc scooter from Suzuki for the Indian market after the Access 125 and the Burgman Street 125. The new Suzuki Avenis 125 is primarily aimed at the younger generation of scooter buyers and it is here to give fierce competition to the TVS NTorq 125. Suzuki Avenis 125 Design
The brand new Suzuki Avenis 125 takes the design inspiration from the king of the 125cc sporty scooter segment, TVS NTorq 125. The scooter has sporty design elements and it gets an LED headlamp along with an LED position light that is mounted on the front apron of the scooter. At the rear, the scooter gets an LED tail lamp and it is finished in dual-tone colour shades. Moreover, the Suzuki Avenis 125 is sold in 5 colours. They are – Pearl Blaze Orange, Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Mirage White, Matte Fibroin Grey, and Metallic Triton Blue.
Suzuki Avenis 125 Engine Specs
The brand new Suzuki Avenis 125 draws power from a BS-VI compliant 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, FI engine that features Suzuki’s SEP technology. This motor churns out 8.7 PS of maximum power at 6750 RPM and 10 Nm of peak torque at 5500 RPM. The engine is paired with a CVT and this gearless scooter from Suzuki will deliver a mileage of around 45-55 kmpl in ideal riding conditions. That’s because this is the very same powertrain that does its duty on the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 and Suzuki Access 125.
Suzuki Avenis 125 Features
The new Suzuki Avenis 125 gets several class-leading features to attract young customers. For starters, it gets LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED tail lamp and free-standing indicators at the rear which are inspired by motorcycles. Moreover, the scooter gets a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity that can be paired with your smartphone. It shows several trip-related information and other vital statistics.
Suzuki Avenis 125 Suspension and Braking
Just like most other gearless scooters, the new Suzuki Avenis 125 gets telescopic forks at the front and a single-sided mono-shock absorber at the rear. The braking duties on the gearless scooter are performed by a drum set-up at the rear and it features a disc brake at the front. For additional safety, it even gets a combined braking system. The scooter has a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 litres and also a large boot space.

Suzuki Avenis 125 Price and Rivals
The new Suzuki Avenis 125 is available in two variants. They are Ride Connect Edition and Race Edition. The former variant which is available in four colour shades is priced at Rs 86,700 while the latter one with a single Blue colour on offer has been priced at Rs 87,000. All the prices mentioned over here belong to Ex-showroom New Delhi.
