Czech auto maker Skoda has introduced the L&K (Laurin & Klement) variant which is the range topping model of the Kodiaq in the Indian market. The SUV has been launched at a price of Rs. 35.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, India). The L&K variant is fully loaded and comes with a ton of features and exclusive styling elements.
The L&K Skoda Kodiaq variant comes with a new Magnetic Brown color that gives it a premium touch. It gets chrome treatment on the front grille and rear bumper. L&K badges adorn the front fenders, aluminum door sill scuff plates and silver finished roof rails add to the exclusivity.
Inside the cabin the SUV gets exclusive touches like piano black finish on the dashboard, beige leather upholstery and infotainment system. Added equipment list on the L&K Kodiaq variant includes – 360 degree Surround view, hands free parking (car steers itself for parallel or perpendicular parking) .
The Skoda Kodiaq L&K variant also features a virtual cockpit which is present in the Audi line-up. The fully digital instrument cluster offers a host of information, and the screen can be controlled through the steering mounted controls.
Powering the L&K trim of the Kodiaq is a 2.0 litre diesel motor that develops 150 PS of power and 340 Nm of twisting force. Power is transmitted to the wheels through a seven-speed quick shifting DSG automatic gearbox.
