Homegrown Indian two wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto has finally introduced the Pulsar 125 Split Seat variant in the domestic market. The company has priced it at INR 79,091 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Pulsar Split Seat variant can be bought by paying an additional Rs. 4000/- over the regular disk brake model. This new variant is the top of the line Pulsar 125. You get a few cosmetic changes, split seat setup, grab rails at the sides and a belly pan. Overall these few changes enhance the overall appeal of the bike.
The Pulsar 125 was initially launched in August 2019, and the company sold well over 1 llakh units within the first 6 months of its launch. Auto manufacturers are facing a tough time due to the ongoing pandemic and Bajaj hopes the new Pulsar 125 variant will rekindle the interest of motorbike enthusiasts.
There is no change to the bike`s mechanicals. It is powered by a 125cc, BS6 DTS-i FI engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine produces 11.8 PS of power and 10.8 Nm of torque. Suspension duties are performed by a telescopic setup at the front and twin gas filled shock absorbers at the rear. It has a ground clearance of 165 mm, 790 mm seat height and weighs 142 kg.
The Split Seat Pulsar 125 is available in the following colour options – Black Silver, Neon Green on Matte Black, and Black Red.
