Nissan Magnite SUV launched at Rs. 4.99 Lacs

Japanese automaker Nissan has launched the Magnite SUV at a special introductory price of Rs. 4.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The introductory pricing is valid till December 31st, 2020.

The Nissan Magnite is an important launch for the carmaker as it will shape the future roadmap for the company in the Indian market. Nissan calls it a big, bold, beautiful and carismatic SUV. The all-new Nissan Magnite marks the beginning of a new chapter in the Nissan NEXT strategy for both the Indian and global market. Built on the philosophy of ‘Make in India, Make for the World’, the all-new Nissan Magnite comes with more than 20 first-in-class and best-in-segment features that provides consumers with a differentiated, innovative and accessible ownership experience,” said Sinan Ozkok, President, Nissan Motor India.

Nissan has packed the Magnite with class leading features like X-TRONIC CVT, Cruise Control, 360-degree Around View Monitor and Nissan Connect. Interested tech-savvy customers can opt for the “Tech Pack” which includes air purifier, wireless charger, ambient mood lighting, high-end speakers and puddle lamps.

The Magnite is being offered in five variants. The base petrol engine will be offered in the four lowest trims while the turbo-petrol engine option will skip the base version and be offered in the rest of the range with both manual and CVT options. The Tech Pack is an optional extra for the top two trims.

The Nissan Magnite SUV is available with only two petrol engine options. A 1.0 litre motor that produces 72 PS and 96 Nm and a 1.0 litre turbo-petrol unit putting out 100 PS and 160 NM. The naturally aspirated petrol engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual while the turbo variant is also equipped with an X-Tronic CVT, in addition to the manual. 

Nissan India today has also launched a first-in-industry virtual test drive feature that allows the customer to experience the all-new Nissan Magnite on their personal device, wherever they may be. This interactive drive experience gives Nissan customers a unique chance to drive the ‘carismatic’ SUV with a virtual sales consultant.
