New Maruti Wagon R front

The top of the line Wagon R variant will get its juice from a 1.2 litre 4-cylinder engine which produces 82 bhp of power and 115 Nm of twisting torque. This engine also does duty in the Ignis crossover and Swift hatchback. However, the lower variants will be powered by a 1.0 litre, three-cylinder petrol motor. The new Wagon R will be offered with both manual and AMT transmission options. On the safety front it will be equipped with ABS, EBD and dual front airbags as standard.

New Wagon R interiors

Coming to the interiors, the all-new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R gets a dual tone theme featuring brown and beige upholstery. Apart from this the new model gets a touchscreen (top-spec variant only) and an updated instrument cluster. It also gets electrically adjustable mirrors, 12 V mobile charging socket, multifunction steering wheel, and much more. The Wagon R is known for its practicality and space and the new Wagon R does not disappoint in this department.

New Wagon R rear

The new Wagon R like its predecessor has a tall boy design with a squared out-front end and the headlights are quite unique which give some character to the Wagon R`s face. The front grille gets a chrome garnish with the Suzuki emblem in the centre with integrated fog lamps in the front bumper. Coming to the side there is nothing much to talk about and the rear end features vertically stacked taillamps.
