Maruti Suzuki has lauched the BS6 versiom of the 2020 Celerio S-CNG. The hatchback comes with a factory fitted CNG kit. It is available in three variants namely – Vxi and Vxi(O) for private buyers and H2 Tour for the commecial taxi segment.
What`s under the hood?
The Maruti Suzuki S-CNG BS6 gets its power from a 998cc, three cylinder petrol motor. This engine produces 58 HP of power and 78 Nm of torque on CNG. When the engine is switched to petrol mode it produces 67 HP and 90 Nm. The engine is coupled to a five-speed manual transmission.
The Maruti Celerio is the ideal hatchback for first time car buyers. Its easy to use and its small dimensions help in congested city driving. The Celerio was also available with a diesel engine a few years back, but was later discontinued due to poor sales.
Equipment and Features
The Maruti Celerio CNG BS6 Vxi is equipped with AC, power Steering, power windows. driver-side airbag, high speed alerts, ABS, and seat belt reminders. The Vxi(O) gets a passenger side aribag, front seat-belt pretensioners and a security system.
