Mahindra and Mahindra have officially unveiled the all-new Mahindra XUV700 in India. The new Mahindra XUV700 will be the flagship SUV in the company’s India line-up as the Alturas G4 will be officially discontinued soon. The XUV700 is one of the most awaited cars of the year and now that it has been finally revealed, there has been a lot of buzz around the stellar pricing of this excellent product. Mahindra has also revealed the price of some select variants of the XUV700 and the Mahindra XUV700 Price in India starts at just Rs 11.99 lakhs, Ex-showroom. Check out its specs, features, etc.
Mahindra XUV700 – Engine Specifications
The all-new Mahindra XUV700 gets two powerful turbocharged engine options and they deliver the best in segment power and torque figures. The XUV700 draws power from a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre Stallion turbo petrol engine that churns out 200 PS of maximum power and 380 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed AT. It also gets a BS6 compliant 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that churns out 155 PS of power and 360 Nm of torque in the base variant and 185 PS of maximum power along with 420 Nm of peak torque (450 Nm with AT) in other trim levels. This engine is also paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The XUV700 gets three drive modes – Zip, Zap, Zoom. Mahindra is also offering all-wheel-drive versions.
Mahindra XUV700 – Looks and Design
The all-new Mahindra XUV700 is based on the company’s new global W601 monocoque platform and it is also the first Mahindra vehicle to feature the new ‘Twin Peaks’ logo. This Twin Peaks logo will be now featured on all upcoming new Mahindra passenger vehicles. The new XUV700 has an evolutionary design and it carries many design elements of the Mahindra XUV500. The XUV700 gets full LED headlamps with massive C-shaped LED DRLs along with LED fog lamps and it gets a new grille where Mahindra’s new logo proudly sits in the middle. The side profile of the SUV features new twin five-spoke alloy wheels and it gets flush-fitting door handles too. At the rear, it features new unique LED taillights.

Mahindra XUV700 – Features and Safety Equipment on Offer
The Mahindra XUV700 gets a ton of features, including dual 10.25-inch digital screens with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, Mahindra’s new AdrenoX connect with over 60 connected car features, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ADAS or Advanced Driver Assistance System with hi-tech features like Driver Drowsiness Detection System, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control, etc. The new Mahindra XUV700 even gets an Amazon Alexa virtual assistant along with safety features like up to seven airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) and Brake Assist, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), HSA (Hill-Start Assist Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management) front and rear parking sensors, etc. However, features such as a 12-speaker 3D sound system by Sony, 360-degree surround view, blind view monitoring, electronic parking brake and wireless charging won’t be offered even on the top-spec variant, instead, will be a part of an optional pack.
Mahindra XUV700 – Variants, Price and Rivals
The Mahindra XUV700 will be offered in two trim levels. They are MX and AdrenoX aka AX. The AdrenoX trim will have three variants namely AX3, AX5 and AX7. Mahindra has revealed the price of some selected petrol variants of the new XUV700. The price of the new Mahindra XUV700 has been set at Rs 11.99 lakhs for the MX Petrol, Rs 12.49 lakhs for the MX Diesel, Rs 13.99 lakhs for the AX3 Petrol and Rs 14.99 lakhs for the AX5 Petrol variant. All prices mentioned here are applicable to Ex-showroom Delhi. The price of the other trims will be revealed at a later stage and the bookings for the same will also open soon. The all-new Mahindra XUV700 will rival the Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, etc.
