The engine details for the new Mahindra XUV700 have been released, and the 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine will produce a maximum of 200 horsepower.
The three-row SUV is expected to debut in July and hit the market by October. It will also be available with a 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel engine producing 185 horsepower.
Even when it comes to the diesel engine, the competition is less powerful than the XUV700 (Hector Plus and Safari have 170 HP, while the Alcazar has 115 HP). The XUV700 will be available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
The car’s exterior design has been widely debated, and some of its design characteristics have also been revealed. So, let’s concentrate on the SUV’s segment-leading features.
Some of the key features the XUV700 will be equipped with are Auto Booster headlights, flush-fitting door handles, twin screens for infotainment and instrumentation, advanced driver-assistance systems, and much more.
Mahindra is expected to offer the SUV in five, six, and seven-seater configurations. Customers will also be able to choose from a multiple texture and interior theme options.
