Kia Motors will soon announce its brand launch in India. The first product to come out from the Korean manufacturer will be a production-spec version of the Kia SP concept that was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. This model is expected to be launched around August 2019.
Ahead of its official launch, Kia has revealed the list of dealerships it will be appointing in the state of Kerala. The carmaker had already revealed that it will have outlets in 35 cities initially, which will be expanded as demand rises. A few days back, Kerala-based Alyson group, through a post on their Facebook page, announced that it will be the official dealer principal for Kia in Kannur, Calicut, and Malappuram. It is worth noting that Alyson group is a popular name in the automotive retail industry, having multiple two-wheeler and four-wheeler outlets across the country.
In addition to the aforementioned cities, Kia will also have dealerships in Cochin and Trivandrum. All dealerships will stick to the company’s Red Cube look. In addition to the fixed dealerships, Kia will establish multiple touch points across the country to reach a wider audience. These touch points will offer test drives to prospective customers and will also provide service solutions.
In addition to the Kia SP concept-based production model, the Optima sedan, Carnival MPV, and Sportage SUV are also expected to be launched in the Indian market in due course of time.
