Kia Motors, a sister concern of Korean carmaker Hyundai has just released a teaser of its upcoming new SUV for the Indian market, the Kia Sportage. The Sportage shown in the teaser images is the facelifted model which has been introduced internationally. The teasers focal point is the entry of Kia Motors into the Indian market and it also focuses on Kia`s plans to bring many SUVs to the domestic market. The first Kia model to launch in India would be the SP concept which was the star attraction at the 2018 Auto Expo.
Kia Motors has big plans for India and this teaser which shows the Sportage gives us a glimpse of what we can expect from the Korean brand in the future. The carmaker has an aggressive launch strategy and has plans to launch a new car model every six months. Kia plans to introduce 5-6 popular models in its product range quickly. At the 2018 Auto Expo Kia`s entire range was put on display to gauge customer interest. The Sportage will be slotted above the SP in Kia`s line-up for India. It will be the brand`s flagship SUV when launched in India. The SUV gets impressive styling elements, well-crafted interiors, loads of features and driving dynamics that will impress everyone.
The Kia Sportage is expected to launch in the India in mid-2019.
