Customers of the Carnival MPV in India will benefit from a new ‘Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme,’ according to Kia India. Private customers of the premium offering will be able to return the vehicle within the first 30 days of ownership if they are unhappy with their purchase, according to the first-of-its-kind initiative. The offer will be applicable on all Kia Carnival models, according to the automaker. It will pay 95% of the vehicle’s ex-showroom price as well as administrative charges for registration and financing.
Customers who purchase a Kia Carnival must ensure that the vehicle does not exceed 1500 kilometers on the odometer within the first 30 days of ownership in order to be eligible for the offer. Furthermore, for the car to be returnable, it must be free of defects, failures, and pending claims. The owner’s agreement for the vehicle’s transfer, including all papers and fees, must be in a person’s name. The car must also be free of any hypothecation, and the credit company must submit a NOC for the car.
Speaking on the industry-first initiative, Tae-Jin Park, Executive Director & CSBO, Kia India, said, “Last month, we introduced our new brand purpose of inspiring consumers through products and services, and their experiences with the brand. The ‘Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme’ is the first step to bring this purpose to life and is designed to offer a differentiated Kia ownership experience to our customers, prioritizing their peace of mind during these testing times. The growing popularity of our class-leading MPV has been extremely encouraging for us and this initiative aims to enhance customer belief in Kia Carnival even further.”
The Kia Carnival was unveiled in India during the Auto Expo in February 2020 and is the Korean automaker’s flagship model. The vehicle is at the high end of the MPV market, yet it provides customers with more luxury and value. According to the firm, over 6200 Carnivals have been sold so far, with the Limousine version accounting for almost 60% of overall sales.
The Kia Carnival comes in seven-seater, eight-seater, and nine-seater versions, with the Limousine version getting cabin seats in the second row. Individual seats are modeled after first-class airline cabins, with the highest level of quality and comfort at the forefront. The suspension has also been fine-tuned to maximize cabin comfort with minimal undulations filtering through the cabin. The Kia Carnival price starts at Rs 24.95 lakh and goes up to Rs 33.95 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom India).
