Hyundai Motor India has revealed its biggest launch of 2019, the Venue compact SUV on the 17th of April in India. The C-SUV segment is the most competitive segment in the Indian car market and Hyundai will be launching the Venue first in India and then globally on the 21st of May.
The compact SUV segment is growing day by day and the new C-SUV from Hyundai will rival the likes of the Ford Ecosport, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
The Venue is a late entrant to the party but Hyundai has ensured it hits the bulls eye. It is based on Hyundai`s latest design philosophy and will get a host of creature comforts. Apart from this the Hyundai Venue will be India`s first connected car.
The top trim variant will feature Projector head lamp units, LED daytime running lights, LED tail lights, 16 inch alloy wheels, an electric sunroof and much more.
Inside the cabin the Vitara Brezza rival will feature a touch screen infotainment system, leather wrapped steering wheel, steering mounted audio controls, automatic climate control, rear seat arm rest to name a few.
Hyundai has always built safe cars and this new SUV from the Korean carmaker is no different. It gets a host of safety equipment such as dual airbags, driver and passenger seat belt, ABS with EBD, driver and paseenger seat belt warning, high speed alert system and reverse parking sensors as standard across the range.
The Venue will be offered with one diesel and two petrol engine options. A 1.4 litre petrol and a 1.4 litre oil burner will be offered as standard options. Both these engines will be paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. Apart from this the Venue will be available with a 1.0 litre, 3-cyinder, turbocharged petrol engine paired to a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
The Hyundai Venue will be priced from INR 8 lakh to INR 12 lakh ex-showroom.
