Hyundai Stops Online Bookings Of Venue, New Model Launching Soon

Korean carmaker Hyundai has stopped online bookings for its compact SUV Venue. The Hyundai Venue model has been removed from the company`s official website. Hyundai is planning to launch the Venue facelift in the upcoming weeks. Though the official launch date has not been announced multiple spy shots of the 2022 Hyundai Venue have surfaced online. Recently a 3D rendering of the new model surfaced online giving us a glimpse of what the 2022 model will look like.

As per reports bookings for the Venue facelift have commenced unofficially. Designwise, expect the facelifted model to be slightly different from the outgoing one. The front will feature a parametric grille similar to the one seen on the new-gen Tuscon. The front bumper will be tweaked along with faux skid plates there will be no changes to the split headlamp and fog lamp assembly. The 2022 Venue will get new alloy wheels and revised taillights.

Inside the cabin the new Hyndai Venue is expected to the equipped with new upholstery and interior colour scheme. There is a possibility of the facelift getting a bigger touchscreen infotainment system, a 360 degree camera, Bose audio system, front parking sensors and ventilated front seats.

Under the hood there will be no mechanical changes. Like the outgoing model the updated 2022 Hyundai Venue will come with three engine options – 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol (83PS), 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel (100PS) engines. The compact SUV will be available with 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox options.

With all the above changes the 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift is expected to receive a price hike. The model currently on sale is priced from Rs. 7.11 lakh to Rs. 11.84 lakh (ex-showroom). How many of you are waiting for the new Venue? Let us know by using the comments section below.
