Hyundai has introduced the CNG variant of the Grand i10, it is priced at Rs. 6.39 lakhs.
Korean car maker Hyundai`s small car, the Grand i10 is one of the top selling cars in the domestic market. Sensing the gradually diminishing demand for diesel cars, Hyundai has launched the Grand i10 CNG variant in the Indian market. The Grand i10 CNG variant is priced at INR 6.39 lakhs and comes only in the Magna trim.
The Hyundai Grand i10 CNG variant is powered by the tried and tested 1.2 litre Kappa petrol motor. The motor generates 82 HP of peak power and 110 Nm of torque on petrol and 66 HP of power and 98 Nm of twisting force with CNG. The performance is better with petrol, but you get more mileage with the CNG kit. The Magna variant is decently equipped and gets ABS with EBD, bluetooth audio system, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors.
The CNG variant costs Rs. 63,000/- more than the regular Magna trim with the 5-speed MT. Earlier Hyundai used to offer the CNG variant only for fleet operators, but has now made it available for private buyers.
