Hyundai Motor India announced today the launch of the ‘Hyundai Bluelink Championship 2.0’ for customers who own a Hyundai vehicle with Bluelink connected services, with the goal of increasing customer engagement. Hyundai customers can register to compete in the month-long championship from June 13 to June 22, 2022. The winner’s reward value has been increased to make the championship more appealing and engaging. Furthermore, participants can now check their scores more frequently to stay up to date on driving patterns while continuously improving driving habits to win a reward.
Commenting on Bluelink Championship 2.0, Mr. Brijesh Gubbi Suresh, Group Head – New Business Strategy, HMIL said, “The Bluelink Championship gained very high appreciation from customers as it encourages customers to exhibit their driving skills, competing with other fellow driving participants on their driving behavior patterns and win prizes. With this championship, Hyundai has taken a step forward to create awareness among Hyundai Customers on the safety of their driving pattern while making urite car fuel-efficient through responsible driving skills”.
Hyundai Bluelink Champions will be determined by analyzing driving behavior and assigning scores based on parameters such as smooth driving, overspeeding, sudden braking and acceleration, and distance traveled. Individual Hyundai drivers’ driving Scores range from 0 to 100, with 100 being the best. Hyundai drivers have been given tips to help them improve their driving habits and scores. This initiative will raise awareness of safe driving practices while also contributing to the creation of a safe society by creating a safe driving ecosystem.
Customers can register to participate between June 13 and June 22, 2022. Individual eligible customers will receive a personalized invitation from HMI. The championship will last 31 days (June 23 – July 23, 2022). The winners of the second edition of the Hyundai Bluelink Championship will be announced on July 30, 2022. It applies to all Indian Hyundai customers who use Bluelink. Hyundai will only analyze the driving behavior of customers who register for the championship within the time frame specified. The championship is divided into regions. The top three scorers from each region will receive attractive gift vouchers, and the top 60 customers will receive e-trophies.
