Hero Xpulse 200 is the most affordable dual-purpose off-road motorcycle currently on sale in the Indian market. The new Hero Xpulse 200 was first launched in India in the year 2019 and it received the BS6 update in early 2020. As we have already mentioned before, it is a very affordable ADV and the price of the Hero Xpulse 200 BS6 currently starts in India at Rs 1.20 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi and it is available in a host of colour variants. The new Hero Xpulse 200 BS6 is available in a total of five different colour variants. They are:

  • Matte Green
  • Matte Grey
  • Panther Black
  • Sports Red
  • White

The new Hero Xpulse 200 BS6 draws power from a BS6 compliant 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine and it also gets Hero’s XSens fuel-injection technology that helps to boost the fuel economy of this bike. This updated BS6 motor pumps out 18.04 PS of maximum power at 8500 RPM and 16.45 Nm of peak torque at 6500 RPM. The engine is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Xpulse 200 is quite fuel-efficient too. It delivers a mileage of 40 kmpl, which is great.

The new Hero Xpulse 200 gets telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. For braking duties, this adventure motorcycle features disc brakes at either end along with a single-channel anti-lock braking system as an additional safety feature. The Hero Xpulse 200 runs on a 21-inch front and a 17-inch rear tyre. It also gets a new digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and shows a host of information along with turn by turn navigation.

The new Hero Xpulse 200 BS6 is currently priced in India at Rs 1.21 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. The Xpulse 200 doesn’t have any direct rivals in the country but indirectly, it rivals the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan, Honda CB 200X and the Yamaha FZ-X.
