Ducati Panigale V4 R launched, Ducati`s most powerful production bike

Italian motorcycle marque Ducati has launched the Panigale V4 R in India. The superbike is priced at Rs. 51.87 lakhs, (ex-showroom, India). Being a limited edition only 5 units are available in India and bookings for the bike are open in India.

Since the Panigale V4 R is a limited-edition model, customers booking their bike before November 30th will have their bike delivered in between Jan and March 2019 while customers booking the bike after November 30th will have to wait till April/June 2019 for bike to be delivered.

Ducati claims the Panigale V4 is the most powerful production bike launched by the company. Ducati claims the V4 gets the technical wizardry of the race spec Ducati superbikes. The engine is a new unit which Ducati calls the 998cc Desmosedici Stradale R producing 221Hp of power.

Ducati has made a lot of adjustments and modifications to the bike to enhance the capabilities of the V4 R. It gets race grade adjustable Ohlins suspension, sports fairing, adjustable aluminum swingarm with four position axle, and electronic wizardry borrowed from the Panigale V4 S. The electronic controls have been revised to meet pro rider requirements.

Apart from these changes Ducati has improved the aerodynamic efficiency of the bike with the addition of the Aero pack which affects its performance on the track. The Aero pack has been designed by Ducati Corse with inputs from Ducati Style Centre.

Ducati has improved its dealership network and the superbike can be booked from any of the company`s dealerships in the following cities – Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Mumbai and Delhi.
