Ampere Electric claims the Magnus Pro has a very low running cost of 15 paise per kilometre. The electric scooter comes in two modes and has a range of 100 km in economy mode and 80 km in performance mode. The battery of the scooter takes a full five hours to charge.

Ampere Electric today launched the electric scooter Magnus Pro priced at Rs 73,990 (ex-showroom, India). The company is a 100% owned subsidiary of Greaves Cotton.
Nagesh Basavanhali, managing director at Greaves Cotton said, “We see personal affordable mobility will pick up post COVID-19…We believe electric scooters by virtue of the low running cost will grow going toward.”
Ampere Electric has launched the Magnus Pro in Bengaluru. The company plans to eventually launch the scooter across the country. Ampere Electric has a wide network of 200 showrooms across 190 cities in India. With the addition of the Magnus Pro to its portfolio Ampere now has six electric two wheelers in its line-up.

The Magnus Pro is equipped with anti-theft alarm, remote keyless entry, CBS (combined braking system), and tubeless tyres. It also gets a digital dashboard, LED light in boot space, detachabale battery, USB charger, and a large boot space.
