Skoda has launched the Kodiaq 4×4, which meets the latest emission standards and is available in three variants – Style, Sportline, and L&K – with prices starting at Rs. 37.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). Due to increasing demand in India, Skoda has increased the car’s allocation to 750 units per quarter.
Equipped with a 2.0-litre TSI EVO turbo petrol engine that produces 190 PS and 320 Nm of torque, the Kodiaq can accelerate from 0-100 km/hr in just 7.8 seconds. The engine has been updated to comply with the new norms, resulting in a 4.2 percent increase in efficiency. Additionally, the Kodiaq comes standard with a 4×4 system.
Skoda has introduced new features with the updated Kodiaq, including door-edge protectors that automatically deploy when the doors open to prevent dings and scratches. The rear spoiler now features additional finlets to improve aerodynamics, and the second row offers more comfort with a lounge step for passengers to rest their feet and outer headrests.
