Jaguar India has quietly introduced the new 2022 Jaguar XF Facelift in the Indian market. The pricing for this luxurious business saloon is already available on the company’s official India website. The new 2022 Jaguar XF Facelift has been introduced in India in a single fully-loaded R-Dynamic S trim. This premium sedan is available with petrol and diesel engine options. The new diesel mild-hybrid variant of the 2022 Jaguar XF Facelift costs Rs 76 lakhs while its petrol variant is relatively affordable and it costs Rs 71.60 lakhs, ex-showroom India. The updated Jaguar XF Facelift is considerably more expensive than its predecessor and current rivals because it has been directly imported to India as a CBU, unlike the pre-lift version that was locally manufactured in India.
The new 2022 Jaguar XF Facelift receives a slew of visual upgrades as well as some new features. This luxury sedan now appears more athletic as it is available in R-Dynamic S trim. The sedan has a revised front fascia that includes a more prominent grille with a stud-like pattern and discreet chrome accents. It has new front and rear bumpers that are highly aggressive and give the sedan a sporty appeal. The facelifted Jaguar XF also gets new sharp LED headlamps with dual J-shaped LED DRLs. The 2022 Jaguar XF Facelift even features new alloy wheels, that are bigger in size than its predecessor, and at the rear, it gets sharp all-LED taillights.
With the facelift update, Jaguar has not only revamped its exterior but also its interior bits. Stepping inside the cabin, one can note that the 2022 Jaguar XF Facelift has a sophisticated dashboard. It gets the British company’s latest 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. In addition, it also features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a head-up display, 10-color ambient lighting, a new stubby gear lever replacing the old rotary dial, and other features. The new 2022 Jaguar XF Facelift comes in India with two engine options: a petrol motor and a new mild-hybrid diesel version.
The new 2022 Jaguar XF Facelift’s 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine churns out 250 PS of maximum power and 365 Nm of peak torque. This luxury saloon’s new 2.0-litre mild-hybrid diesel engine pumps out 203 PS of power and 430 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and the power is sent to the rear wheels only. The new 2022 Jaguar XF Facelift competes with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series, Audi A6, and the recently introduced Volvo S90.
