Renault India has launched the 2021 Triber at a starting price of Rs. 5.30 lakhs for the base variant and Rs. 7.65 lakh for the top-of-the-line Easy-R AMT variant. Since its launch back in 2019, the company has clocked over more than 70,000 unit sales. Interested customers can book the Triber MY21 from today for a token amount of Rs. 11,000.
The Triber is now equipped with steering-mounted audio and Phone Controls along with a driver seat height adjuster. It gets a new Cedar Brown colour. Moreover, it gets dual-tone exteriors across all colour options and LED on the turn indicator.
The Renault Triber can easily seat seven people, and the third row seats can be removed if they are not needed. With the third row gone, the boot space expands to 625 litres. It also comes with four airbags. The all-new Renault Triber will be available in four trim levels: RXE, RXL, RXT, and RXZ, with both manual and automatic transmission options.
Additionally 5 appealing colours will be offered across all body colours on the RXZ variant- Metal Mustard, Electric Blue, Moonlight Silver, Ice Cool White and Cedar Brown with dual-tone options.
The Renault Triber is equipped with a single-engine option. It is powered by a 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The engine comes mated to a standard 5-speed manual gearbox with an optional AMT transmission, producing a maximum power of 71 bhp at 6250rpm and 96 Nm peak torque at 3500rpm.
The 2021 Triber continues to lead the segment as the best-seller in the Indian market but will face stiff competition from the likes of the Datsun Go+, Hyundai Grand i10, Ford Figo and Maruti Suzuki’s Wagon R and Ertiga.
