Lexus has launched a new Limited-Edition version of its LC 500h sedan at Rs. 2.15 crore, ex-showroom (India) in the Indian market. The 2021 Lexus LC 500h Limited Edition sedan is inspired by air-racing aerodynamic technology as per reports.
The partnership between Lexus Engineers and Yoshihide Moruya air race pilot inspired the limited-edition model, said the company. This not only helped the Lexus team to refine the aerodynamics of their product but also helped to offer advanced driving pleasure and superior handling.
The new limited-edition of the Lexus sedan features 21-inch forged alloy wheels, rear wing and black ornamentation on the front grille. The rear wings and scuff plates uses exquisite carbon-fibre reinforced plastic.
The limited-edition further improves manoeuvrability and overall aerodynamic efficiency also comes with upside-down wingtips. It is reported that the same set of engineers who brought the iconic LFA supercar have built the Lexus LC 500h limited-edition model.

This new limited version model comes with black Alcantara bits that wrap the seats with tan leather accents and seat belts and cover the steering wheel, shift lever and door trims. The mechanical figures are the same as the standard Sedan featuring a 6-cylinder hybrid engine having a capacity of 3.5-litres. It produces 354 bhp at 6600rpm and 500 Nm of peak torque at 3000rpm and is paired to the standard automatic transmission.
Commenting on the launch, P. B. Venugopal, President of Lexus India said, “We are very excited to announce the addition of the exclusive limited edition of the LC 500h. With its bold, aviation-inspired design language, we are confident that it will be well received by our discerning guests who value and appreciate the quality of finer things in life.”
The Lexus LC 500h Limited-Edition model is definitely more sporty compared to the standard model on sale. It will hit the Indian streets soon.
