2021 Ducati Diavel S Black And Steel Edition Unveiled

Ducati has unveiled the Ducati Diavel 1260 S Black and Steel, a limited edition trim of the top-spec Ducati Diavel 1260 S. The Diavel 1260 S Black and Steel, according to Ducati, is inspired by the Diavel “Materico,” which was unveiled at the 2019 Milan Design Week. The wheels, seat, engine belly pan, frame, and underside of the tailpiece are all bright yellow, with brilliant yellow accents on the wheels, seat, engine belly pan, frame, and underside of the tailpiece.

The Black and Steel edition has solely cosmetic alterations and no technical upgrades. The bike is powered by a 1,262 cc Testastretta DVT (Desmodromic Valve Timing) v-twin engine that produces 160 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 129 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm, and is based on the Diavel 1260 S. A six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and chain final drive transmits power from the engine to the rear wheel. The Diavel 1260 S comes standard with an up-and-down quick shifter, and the electronics package includes Bosch cornering ABS, wheelie control, launch control, traction control, and numerous riding modes. Cruise control, keyless ignition, and a full-color TFT instrument display with smartphone connectivity via the Ducati Link app are all part of the package.

The front suspension is a 48 mm Ohlins fully-adjustable fork, while the rear suspension is an Ohlins monoshock with preload, rebound, and compression adjustments. The Diavel 1260 S has a 17-litre fuel tank, a 780-mm seat height, and a 247-kg kerb weight. Braking is handled by Brembo M4.32 monobloc four-piston callipers on twin 320 mm discs up front, with a 265 mm disc gripped by a two-piston Brembo calliper at the rear. From June 10 to June 13, 2021, the Ducati Diavel 1260 S will be presented at the MIMO Motor Show. The Diavel 1260 S Black and Steel edition will be introduced only in a select few international markets. In India, the 2021 Ducati Diavel 1260 is priced at INR 18.49 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Diavel 1260 S is priced at INR 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
