2021 BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS Launched In Japan

The 2021 BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS have been launched in Japan. After a successful launch in India last year, the made-in-India motorcycles are now available in Japan. In reality, India was the first market to receive the updated G 310 R and G 310 GS models, which included new styling, additional features, and a Euro5/BS6 compliant engine. The G 310 R costs 637,000 Yen (approximately 4.30 lakh) in Japan, while the G 310 GS costs 709,000 Yen (approximately 4.79 lakh).

The 2021 BMW G 310 R receives many enhancements including a new LED headlight with integrated LED DRL. There are also new LED turn indicators along with features like the adjustable brake and clutch levers. An Electronic throttle and a slipper clutch are also included in the package. The 313cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine continues to deliver 33.5 bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque at 7500 rpm. A 6-speed gearbox is connected to the engine.

In the Japanese market the 2021 BMW G 310 R is available in Limestone Metallic/Style Sports, Cosmic Black, and Polar White. On the other hand, the 2021 G 310 GS comes in three colours: Kyanite Blue Metallic / Style Rally, Paula White, and Cosmic Black, which is the GS 40th Anniversary colour.

In its segment, the BMW G 310 R will rival the likes of the KTM 390 Duke, while the BMW G 310 GS will go up against the likes of Honda CB400X, Royal Enfield Himalayan, KTM 390 Adventure, and other models.
