BMW has launched its 2021 6 Series GT at a price range of Rs. 67.90 lakh to Rs. 77.90 lakh in India. The model will be available in 630i M Sport, 620d Luxury Line and 630d M Sport variants. The company launched the new 6 Series Gran Turismo facelift in the international markets for the first time last year and has now launched it in India with updated styling and additional equipment.
The BMW 6 Series GT is longer than the current 5 series and provides additional space and comfort. The new model also comes with a coupe-style design and has the practicality of a sedan.

The new BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo comes with two diesel and one petrol engine option: a 2.0-litre diesel, a 3.0-litre straight six diesel and a 2.0-litre petrol variant on offer. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission which produces 255 bhp of maximum power at 5,000 rpm and 400 Nm of peak torque in the range of 1,550-4,400 rpm. The car has a top speed of 250km/hr and takes just 6.5 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km.
BMW is offering Luxury Line and M Sport visual trims along with a wider ‘kidney grille’ at the front, re-styled headlights and revised bumpers. The model will feature new taillights and a notch-back design at the back, along with a set of new alloy wheels and other minor tweaks. The car will also come with a standard LED adaptive headlight, an optional Laserlight headlamps and a large two-part panoramic sunroof.
BMW offers Natural Leather Dakota trim with fine wood trims for its 630i and 620d model while a premium ‘Nappa’ leather upholstery with diamond stitching for its 630d model.
The 6 Series Gran Turismo will have a new 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Apart from these, BMW will provide a 12.3-inch digital instrument console, ambient lighting, 360-degree camera, 4-zone climate control, electrically adjustable rear seats and BMW Laser Light on the ‘M Sport’ variants as standard. Additional features include an adaptive rear spoiler, air suspension with self-levelling and various drive modes.
