With the Covid-19 pandemic showing no signs of abating motorcylce makers have no choice but to launch special editions of their popular models to keep up the interest of buyers.
Triumph has launched the Bonneville T100 and T120 black in India. These Classic motorcycles are priced at Rs. 8.87 – 9.98 lakhs (ex-showroom). The T100 and T120 Black Editions come with cosmetic udates in the form of blacked out elements. Technically both these bikes are similar to their standard counterparts.

Both these modern classics get cosmetic updates in the form of blacked out parts like exhaust tail pipes, wheels, mirrors, indicators, engine etc. The T120 gets a jet black or matte graphite finish for the parts and theT100 gets a matte black or jet black finish.
Engines & Performance
Powering the T100 Triumph Bonneville is a 900cc, eight valve, liquid cooled, parallel twin motor that is capable of producing 55 PS of power and 80 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. On the other hand, the bigger Bonneville T120 is powered by a 1200cc parallel twin engine pumping out 80 PS of power and 107 Nm of torque. The T120 comes with a six-speed gearshift.
Features
Standard features on the T100 include ride-by-wire, switchable traction control, dual-channel-ABS, and a USB charging socket. The T120 gets some additional features like Road and Rain riding modes and heated grips. Both the bikes also get a torque assist clutch and an immobiliser.
