TVS recently launched the 2019 Apache RTR 180 in the Indian market. The bike comes in two variants – ABS and non-ABS. The updated Apache RTR is priced at Rs. 95,392 for the ABS variant and Rs. 84,578 for the non-ABS variant, all prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi.
The refreshed Apache RTR 180 gets updated with a host of features. The bike gets a new instrument cluster, crash protection with integrated frame sliders, white back-lit speedometer and dial art, race inspired graphics and performance.
The updated TVS Apache RTR comes in 5 new attractive colors – Matte Red, Matte Blue, T Grey, Gloss Black and Pearl White. TVS has introduced the new model as the company has recently crossed the three million sales milestone.
The changes to the 2019 Apache RTR are purely cosmetic, while there are no mechanical changes. The motorbike gets its juice from a 177.4cc air-cooled single cylinder motor that develops 156 bhp and 15.5 Nm of twisting force. The motor is paired to a 5-speed gearbox and it has a top speed of 114 km/h.
Suspension duties are performed by telescopic forks at the front and gas filled shock absorbers at the rear. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at the front and rear. Customers can opt for an optional ABS version too.
In the company`s line up the Apache RTR 180 sits in between the RTR 160 and the RTR 200. The bike competes with the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar 180 in its segment.
