2019 Hyundai Santro prices leaked

With the imminent launch of the 2019 Hyundai Santro the internet is abuzz about its pricing. As per a latest report on GaadiWaadi, the price range of the hatchback starts at Rs. 3.88 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi NCR.

This is a temporary price list and dealerships have not confirmed the prices. The 2019 Hyundai Santro`s pricing puts it between the Tata Tiago and Maruti Celerio. The hatchback will be available with two engine options, two transmission choices and five variants.

Hyundai India will offer the new Santro in Dlite, Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta grades. All variants will be powered by a 1.1-litre petrol motor that churns out 69 PS and 99 Nm of torque. Customers opting for the Magna and Sportz grade will have the option of a 1.1-litre petrol-CNG engine that produces 59 PS and 84 Nm of torque. The ARAI-certified fuel economy rating for the petrol model is pegged at 20.3 km/l.

Transmission options, they will include 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual. However, the company will restrict the latter to the petrol engine model and the Magna and Sportz grades.

Being a Hyundai car, the new Santro will feature class leading features like rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, driver and co-driver SBR and driver airbag as standard and a speed alert system. The Asta grade will feature passenger airbag, front fog lamps and a reverse parking camera as well. Other highlights of the top of the line variant will include electrically folding exterior mirrors with integrated turn indicators, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, steering mounted audio controls, Android Auto support, rear AC vents.
