At the 2019 Bangkok International Motor Show, Suzuki Motor has unveiled a custom Suzuki Swift Sport which not only looks bad-ass but also looks more sportier. Suzuki designers have not tinkered too much with the original design and the mild updates give the custom Swift a more sporty look.
The 2019 Custom Suzuki Swift Sport gets a mesh type honeycomb grille, air scopes on the hood, sporty bumper and diffuser. It also gets body colored headlight eyelashes, and grey racing stripes on the bonnet.
The custom Swift Sport`s updates add to the overall sporty character of the hatchback. The enhancements are limited to the decals and the front air-scoops give it an aggressive stance. At the rear most of the silhouette looks identical to the standard Swift Sport, except for the updated tail lamps with smoked effect. The cabin features an all-black theme with contrasting red trim.
Powering the Swift Sport is a 1.4 litre Boosterjet petrol motor which generates 138 bhp of power at 5500 rpm and 230 Nm of twisting force. Power is transmitted to the front wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic.
The custom Swift Sport gets a bigger strut bar and Monroe suspensions and a new torsion beam for improved roll stiffness. There were a lot of rumors that Maruti will introduce the Swift Sport in the Indian market, but that is highly unlikely owing to the car`s expensive price tag.
